Champions Tour professional Wayne Levi and his four amateur partners shot a sizzling 18-under-par 54 to take the top honors in today's AT&T Champions Classic Pro-Am, beating the team led by Champions Tour player Dana Quigley by one stroke.

Levi's group of Charlie Chase, Shayland Moise, Greg Brown and Michael Friend were part of the afternoon flight, while Quigley's group of Kathleen McKeon, Greg Ingino, Michael Hoyal and Louis Chen were part of the morning session.

Two teams finished T3 with a score of 56. Team Tom Wargo and Team Jerry Pate guided their groups to a 16-under-par score over the tough Valencia Country Club layout. Wargo's team consisted of Bob Feezor, Tony Kobliska, Kieran Nolan and David Krantz, while Pate's amateur partners were Rob Thun, Steve Raymond, Sid Eshleman and Richard Levine.

The second Pro-Am of AT&T Champions Classic week in the Santa Clarita Valley takes place tomorrow with the morning group heading out at 8:00 a.m., followed by the afternoon flight at noon. Admission to the Pro-Am is free on Thursday, compliments of AT&T.

Competition in the 54-hole $1.6 million AT&T Champions Classic starts Friday morning at 10:10 a.m. Tickets for the Champions Tour event are on sale for $15 at the event entry to Valencia Country Club off of Tourney Road.
