My name is Deputy Josh Dubin, the public information officer here at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. I am also the former Crime Prevention Unit zone leader for the Newhall (Zone 6) area. Although there has not been a zone leader assigned to Stevenson Ranch / Westridge (Zone 3) for a number of months, new private funding was secured to provide public information as to a review of the part one crimes reported for zone 3 during the past week.
