Beginning in April, the Visually Impaired Assistance Services group will move their meeting location to Bouquet Canyon Seniors apartment complex at 26705 Bouquet Canyon Road. The group meets monthly on the second and fourth Mondays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Residents of Orchard Arms apartments, Castaic Lake Seniors, and Canyon Country Seniors apartments who wish to attend can make reservations for transportation by calling John Taylor at the SCV Senior Center, (661) 259-9444, extension 125.

The Visually Impaired Assistance Services (VIAS) program provides a wide variety of support programs for the visually impaired. Some of these include home modifications, care management, education, recreational activities, and assistance with technologies that enhance independence.
