One local golf product has already punched his ticket to the Qualifying School finals.

Two more are working on it.

Hart graduate Matt Ryan and Saugus graduate Nick Delio both completed their third rounds at various locations on Thursday during the second stage of Q-School.

Ryan is leading a field of 77 golfers at Southern Hills Plantation Club in Brooksville, Fla. at 14-under through 54 holes while Delio is 1-over and tied for 33rd of 79 at the Bear Creek Golf Club in Murrieta.

Each golfer has 18 holes to play today.

In Ryan’s case, he’s in prime position to qualify for the finals. He needs to finish somewhere among the top 19.

On the other hand, Delio has work to do in his final round as he needs to climb to the top 20 to advance.

For now, he’s three strokes behind the cutline.

Both golfers are trying to join Valencia graduate Max Homa, who already advanced to the finals last week.

Q-School is divided into three stages that take place over the course of two months.

Each of the three local products had to take part in the first stage late last month.

The final stage will take place across six rounds at the TPC Stadium Course and Nicklaus Tournament Course in La Quinta from Dec. 12-17.
