Breegan Lee Hawse of Valencia and Paul Robert Johnson of Stevenson Ranch were joined in marriage June 21, 2008 at the Monterey Plaza Hotel in Monterey.

The double ring ceremony was presided over by Dr. William S. Barnes, a member of the family, of St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Orlando, Fla.

The bride is the daughter of Cindy and James Hawse of Camarillo. She is the granddaughter of Audrey and James Bess of Newport Beach and La Verne Hawse of Escondido.

The groom is the son of Joan and Bob Barnes of Valencia and bonnie and Paul Johnson of Nassau, Bahamas. He is the grandson of Robert Ward, Sr. of Somerdale, N.J.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of crinkled chiffon and beaded satin. Her veil was made of tulle finished with scalloped edges of think satin. She carried a bouquet of white roses and white hydrangea embedded with shells and photos of family members who had passed on. The bride's ring pillow and garter were made from the wedding dresses of the mothers of the newly married couple.

The wedding guest book is a keepsake coffee table book capturing Monterey for the bride and groom.
Matrons of Honor were Jaime Hefner of La Canada and Jenny Sellz of West Hills.

Bridesmaids were Angela Lee of Val Verde, Amanda Hawse of Santa Clarita, Carol Shirey of Denver, Colo., Jackie Soughlin of Ontario, Canada and Jodi Downs of Valencia.

Best man duties were shared by Rob Barnes of San Diego and Mason Thompson of Frankfurt, Germany.

Groomsmen were Brett Hawse of Santa Clarita, Dan Ganshirt of Newhall, Jared Johnson of Spanish Wells, Bahamas, Justin Kestner of Land of Lakes, Fla. and Simon Kapriellan of Long Beach.

Ushers were John Horton of Jupiter, Fla., Justin Ross of Tarzana and RJ Briscione of Atlanta, Ga.

Flower girl was Isabella Vincent Kapriellan of Long Beach.

Ring bearer was Christopher Downs of Valencia.

Music was provided by Lori Andrews on the harp and Bart Samolis bass/flute of Santa Clarita. Photography was by Scott Campbell of Monterey. Make up was done by freelance makeup artist Stephanie Circhirillo of Valencia.

A reception for 160 guests from the Bahamas, Canada, Isle of Man, Germany, New Jersey, Colorado, New Jersey, Arizona and various locations from throughout California was held at the Monterey Plaza Hotel.

The bride attended Pepperdine University and is employed as a property manager by Sierra Toyota of Lancaster.

The groom attended Embry-Riddle University and is employed as a pilot.

The couple honeymooned aboard a Winstar cruse from Venice, Italy to Croatia.
