Would you like to send those special in your life a Valentine Love Message with some extra flair this year? Then The Signal’s new offering may be of interest to you.

On Valentines’ Day, Friday, Feb 14, you can have a photo and special 30-word message to those you love printed in the paper on a special “Be My Valentine” page for only $19.

But there’s more to this.

Valentine photos and messages printed in the paper will also be featured in a special “Be My Valentine” Top Media Photo Slide Show on beginning early Valentine’s Day morning. If you don’t have a photo to use, the Signal Creative Team can help you out choosing some art or you can have your message all in type.

“We’ll even send your Valentine an e-mail notice to look in the Signal or online at on Valentine’s Day for a surprise,” Advertising Director Andrew Loughlin said.  “It’s a new and trendy way to have some fun and show your special love.”

Messages and photos can be brought in person to The Signal’s offices or mailed with payment to The Signal, 24000 Creekside Road, Valencia 91355.  Full-size, horizontal photos (jpg.), along with message and e-mail address for optional E-Notices to your loved one can be emailed to

To pay by credit card or for more information, contact Jennifer at 661-287-5564. Deadline for submitting your Signal Photo Valentine Love Message is Monday, February 10.

“This idea is really much better than just sending or handing your Valentine a card you bought at the gift shop,” Loughlin said. “These are personalized photo Valentines in the paper as well as online. That should make them feel even more special by letting others know you care too.  And they can share the web link with friends and relatives for fun.  These Photo Valentines also can be clipped out of the paper for the refrigerator door or your family scrapbook,” he added.
