Saugus Zone 4 Crime Report: burglary nvestigated

Good morning Saugus. This week we had 3 Part-1 crimes reported in the Saugus area. The first was a residential burglary in the 27400 block of Santa Clarita Road on January 29th. The victim discovered that between 7:30 AM and 9:50 AM person(s) unknown entered his residence through an open window and stole multiple items. Santa Clarita detectives are actively working the case.

There was an attempt residential burglary in the 22600 block of Pamplico Drive also on January 29th. The victim returned home to discover that someone had tried to make entry into his house through the rear door. Detectives are looking into both of these cases as being related.

There was a petty theft from Pacific Crest Park, located on Garnet Canyon Drive, on January 20th. The victim said that he left his backpack, containing personal items, unattended while at the park. When he went to get his backpack he discovered it was missing.

There were multiple arrests over the past week. The arrests include narcotics and felony vandalism.
