Stevenson Ranch: Zone 3 Update - Public Safety and Crime Prevention Information

Last week, the following Part 1 crimes occurred in Zone 3 Stevenson Ranch:

(1) Residential Burglary, (1) Vehicle Burglary/(1) Theft From Unlocked Vehicle, (3) Grand Thefts, (2) Shoplift and (4) Petty Thefts.

A residential burglary occurred near the 25200 block of Jasmine Lane. When the victim came home, he noticed his television was blocking the doorway and the residence was ransacked. Entry appeared to be made through a shattered kitchen window. At the time of the report, it was unknown if anything was taken.

A vehicle burglary occurred in a business parking lot located near the 27500 block of The Old Road. An unknown suspect punched the front passenger door lock and upon entering the vehicle, took luggage and an Ipad.

Two grand thefts occurred from storage lots located near the intersection of Henry Mayo Drive and Commerce Center Drive. An unknown suspect cut the lock to the perimeter gate and broke into several storage containers. Several tools and a vehicle were taken.

A grand theft from a storage lot occurred near the intersection of The Old Road and Calgrove Boulevard. An unknown suspect cut the lock off a perimeter gate and took several tools.

A petty theft occurred near the 25800 block of Hammet Circle. An unknown suspect took a package left for the U.S. Postal Service off of the victim’s porch.

A petty theft/shoplift occurred near the 25500 block of The Old Road. A male suspect reached over a display counter and took a fishing rod. The suspect was detained by loss prevention personnel and subsequently arrested by responding Santa Clarita Station Deputies.
