Golgotha message Palm Sunday
Who: Newhall Church of the Nazarene
What: Join us for a Palm Sunday celebration where Pastor Greg Garman will speak a message entitled, "Golgotha." There will be an incredible time before the Lord as we conclude the morning with a moment of reflection at the cross of the Lord Jesus and sharing of Communion around His table.
When: Services at 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. with Sunday school, nursery and studies for all ages at both hours.

Easter season celebration services
Dr. Stan Fix at the Friendly Valley Community Church (United Methodist).
What and When: Dr. Fix will present a two week Celebration of the Easter Holiday.
Palm Sunday Service: Sunday at 10 a.m., "The Majesty of Humility".
Maundy Thursday: Candle Light Communion, April 9 at 7 p.m., "The Testimony and Falling Away of the Apostles".
Good Friday: April 10 at 12 p.m., "Jesus, Seven Last Words From the Cross"
Holy Humor Sunday: April 19 at 10 a.m.

Walk through & bunny breakfast
Santa Clarita United Methodist Church
What: Bring the family for an interactive walk through Holy Week. You will spend 1 hour and 30 minutes experiencing what was happening in Jesus' life during the week before Easter. Arrive early and have a pancake breakfast with the Easter Bunny for only $3.50. After your walk, there will be an egg hunt for the children.
When: Saturday, April 11. Breakfast begins at 8:30 a.m. and the walk begins at 9 a.m.

First Presbyterian Lenten study
Pastor Bill Barnes of First Presbyterian Church in Newhall
What: Lenten series titled "Tales from Luke," a quick look through the New Testament Book of Luke. Barnes created study guides following his sermons, which can be used for individuals or study groups. To encourage studying the Scriptures in small groups, The Adult Education Committee at First Presbyterian is creating small groups that will meet to discuss Barnes' sermon prior to his giving it at church. The church invites the community to participate.
When: Through April 12
Where: The church's sanctuary at 24317 N. Newhall Avenue in Newhall, located near William S. Hart Park. The small groups meet at various times and locations. Information on locations and dates are available through the office.

Friendly Valley Lenten studies
Dr. Stan Fix at the Friendly Valley Community Church (United Methodist).
What: Pastor Fix will present a unique short term Lenten-study combining an in-depth look at scripture and musical spirituals. Each class is designed to stand alone, so please come even if you can't attend every week.
When: Wednesday mornings at 9:30 a.m. through April 1, in the Friendly Valley Community Church
The short term Lenten-Study will also meet on Tuesday evenings at 7 p.m. through April 7th in Friendly Valley Homes.
