The following crimes were reported in Zone 2, Castaic/Val Verde.

A work truck parked in 2800 block of Avenue Penn was burglarized.  Suspects broke open the utility box in the bed of the truck and stole miscellaneous tools.

A liquor store on San Martinez Road reported a theft of “Four Loco” beers. A couple in their early twenties put the items in the female’s purse and left without paying.

A building on Morningside Drive was burglarized.  Suspects cut the locks to the outside storage container and rummaged through the contents.  The owner reported the pry marks on the door to the building as well.
