Thousands turn out for city's Earth Arbor Day Festival

More than 4,000 people showed up to celebrate Earth and its environment as the city of Santa Clarita hosted its annual Earth Arbor Day Festival Saturday at Central Park in Saugus.

Attendees enjoyed a day full of interactive activities that not only provided fun but also helped educate about the environment, said Donna Avila, director of the festival.
