Ana Figueredo is a registered nurse, lives in the Santa Clarita Valley and is a survivor of 27 years in an abusive marriage. During that time she repeatedly filed restraining orders and repeatedly fell into the cycle of accepting her then-husband back, only to endure more abuse.

“One detective told me, ‘Why don’t you just move out?’” Figueredo said during an interview with The Signal about domestic violence. “And I told him, ‘I’m not going anywhere.’”
