Saugus district adopts plan for voting-area elections

The Saugus Union School District approved a plan this week to split into voting areas as part of the district’s move to a new voting system ahead of next year’s election.

Saugus school board members voted unanimously Tuesday to adopt the “blue” map created by the district’s demographer as the way to divvy up the Santa Clarita Valley’s largest elementary school district.
