State Supreme Court to review another Newhall Ranch case

Less than a month after dealing a significant blow to the Newhall Ranch project, the California Supreme Court has agreed to review another case related to the controversial, long-planned development in the northwestern Santa Clarita Valley.

On the request of a collection of environmental and public interest groups, the Supreme Court agreed earlier this month to take up the case related to the Mission Village portion of the fiercely debated 21,000-home development project.
