A structure fire damaged a Saugus home early Sunday morning, officials said.

The blaze caused $200,000 in damage to the one story, single, family home according to Sgt. Michael Konecny of the SCV Sherriff’s Station.

“That was a car fire that caught the garage on fire,” he said.

The fire was reported at 3:30 a.m. on the 29000 block of Luzon Drive.

The fire was knocked down by 4:06 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
