Dates to Watch
The After School Rock program will be holding its summer session rock concert at 1p.m. at Vincenzo's Pizza, 24504 ½ Lyons Ave., Newhall. The public is invited to attend and hear these talented kids take the stage for a real rock show, featuring music by Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Blue Oyster Cult, Velvet Revolver, The Foo Fighters, Queen and more. Admission is free, all ages welcome.

Help save a life during Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital's Summer Blood Drive from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Henry Mayo/COC Clinical Education Center, 25727 McBean Parkway, Valencia. Start Smart class for teens at CHP
The Start Smart class is aimed at helping newly licensed drivers and future licensed teenage drivers become aware of the responsibilities that accompany the privilege of being a licensed California driver. Teens attend this class with their parent(s). The class is held at the Newhall Area California Highway Patrol Station, 28648 The Old Road, Valencia. Summer days at the Hart Ranch
The Hart Museum is hosting Summer Days at the Ranch outside of the Ranch House from 9 a.m. - noon, one Saturday a month for
activities and crafts for children ages 3 to 10, but all ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Free, but donations will be accepted.
