Keep old politics out

When it comes to a person's health and welfare, old-fashioned politics should not rear its ugly head nor should it play a part in the decision-making regarding one's well-being.

Opponents of the health care reform plan now under consideration should stick to their pros and cons and not try to "break" a president who is trying to bring desperately needed reform to our country's health care system.

The plan won't be perfect and it will have its flaws, but it will be an improvement over the system we have now, where only the few have adequate coverage.

For Sen. Jim DeMint to declare a "Waterloo" for the president is heartless!

Doesn't the senator realize that reform of health care will be beneficial to one and all?

Have your opinion, Senator, but don't try to break a man and his cause and wish that he meets his "Waterloo."

Let's progress, not digress!

Keep the old-fashioned politics and personal feelings out of this worthwhile cause!
