The Canyon Theatre Guild's 2009-2010 Season begins with the comedy, "Who Was That Lady I Saw You With?" Set in the 1950s, the story centers David Williams, an innocent Columbia University chemistry professor (Michael Keane) who can make liquor as easily as an alchemist can make gold. Unfortunately, his wife, Anne (Kelly Bader) discovers him kissing a female student.

In order to keep Anne from leaving him, the professor and his pal, Michael Haney (Jeff Johnson), come up with a story in which they work for the FBI and David was kissing a foreign spy in the line of duty. The ruse seems to work until the real FBI come in.

Opening night features a champagne and wine reception on Friday, July 31 followed by performances every Friday and Saturday evening at 8 p.m. through Aug. 29. There will be Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. on Aug. 2, and Aug. 16. The box office number is (661) 799-2702, and the CTG Playhouse is located at 24242 Main Street in Old Town Newhall.
