Grace Praise Symphony plans performance
The Grace Praise Symphony Orchestra of Grace Baptist Church will host a performance, titled "The Killer B's," on May 31 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the church's Worship Center. Admission is free.

Guests will hear various compositions, including Barnum and Bailey's favorites and God Bless America, and will enjoy a feature appearance by the Saugus High School percussion section.

The event will also include an "instrumental petting zoo" for kids to learn about different types of instruments.

Grace Baptist Church is located at 22833 Copper Hill Drive in Saugus.

Oak Hill announces summer party
Oak Hill Bible Church, a nondenominational Christian Church, will host their Summer Kick-off Party on June 22 at Del Valle Park, near the Oak Hill Church building.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature games and activities. Guests are also invited to stay for services at 4 p.m. at the church.

The park is at 28201 Sloan Canyon Road in Castaic.

Nazarene sermon: 'Trust and Obey'
On Sunday, Pastor Greg Garman of the Newhall Church of the Nazarene will continue his series "Living in The Light" and will deliver the message, "Trust and Obey."

Garman will present his message during the 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. services. Nursery services, as well as Sunday school, will be available at both hours. The church is located at 23857 The Old Road, off Calgrove Boulevard in Newhall. For more information, call (661) 259-5272.

Acclaimed pianist to perform May 31
Norman Krieger, an acclaimed pianist, will give a private recital on May 31 as part of Congregation Beth Shalom's Distinguished Performances Series.

The recital is a VIP Patron event and will include a gala reception with the artist from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and a performance from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The reception and performance are strictly limited to 80 patrons.

Tickets are $120, which includes the reception with wine and hors d'oeuvres. For more information, call Mary at (661) 254-2411.
