St. Stephen's to hold rummage sale
A multi-family rummage sale will be held May 17 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Newhall. The sale will feature books, toys, clothing, furniture, household items and many other things.

All proceeds will directly benefit St. Stephen's mission and ministries in the local community.

Orchestra plans 'The Killer B's'
The Grace Praise Symphony Orchestra of Grace Baptist Church will host a performance titled "The Killer B's" on May 31 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the church's Worship Center. Admission is free.

Guests will hear various compositions, including Barnum and Bailey's favorites and God Bless America, and will enjoy a feature appearance by the Saugus High School percussion section.

The event will also include an "instrumental petting zoo" for kids to learn about different types of instruments.

Oak Hill Bible Church hosts party
Oak Hill Bible Church, a nondenominational Christian Church, will host a Summer Kick-off Party on June 22 at Del Valle Park, near the Oak Hill Church building. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature games and activities. Guests are also invited to stay for services at 4 p.m. at the church.

New Nazarene's Sunday message
On Sunday, Pastor Greg Garman of the Newhall Church of the Nazarene will present a Mother's Day message and will take a look at some of the ladies of the Bible. Garman will compare different stories through scripture on women of influence. Nursery services, as well as Sunday school, will be available at both hours.

Acclaimed pianist to perform May 31
Norman Krieger, an acclaimed pianist, will give a private recital May 31 as part of Congregation Beth Shalom's Distinguished Performances series.

The event will include a gala reception with the artist from 7 to 8 p.m. and a performance from 8 to 10 p.m.
