From 1 p.m. to 6 p.m, professionals, amateurs and first-time armwrestlers are invited to the Residence Inn on The Old Road for some friendly competition. Participants will compete in their own weight class and fight for the champion title.

Registration is open on Friday, Nov. 13 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The adult wrestler registration fee is $25 and the youth (ages 12-17) registration fee is $5. Free t-shirts will be awarded to the first 100 registered wrestlers.

"It's so cool that everyone comes together to compete," said Kim Goldman, executive director of the SCV Youth Project. "It's a major event everyone really enjoys, and it creates such a high energy environment for both observers and competitors."
