Firefighters put out a brush fire Wednesday afternoon that burned 4 acres in Acton, officials said.

Los Angeles County and Angeles National Forest firefighters responded to the flames just after 3 p.m. that started west of Department of Corrections Camp 11, the base of an inmate fire crew, said Los Angeles County Fire's supervising dispatcher Bryan Webb.

"It burned uphill and was stopped at a ridge," he said.

Firefighters put out the flames just after 4 p.m. with no injuries or damage of structures reported, Webb added.
