A pole carrying a high-voltage wire fell down Saturday catching a dump truck on fire and halting power to a mobile home park near Aliso Canyon Road in Acton, a fire official said.

Los Angeles County firefighters responded to the scene just before 4:30 p.m and put out the blaze. No one was apparently in the parked Los Angeles County truck and no injuries were reported, said Supervising Fire Dispatcher Michael Pittman.

Fire and California Highway Patrol officials called upon Southern California Edison to fix the pole which was leaning against a building, Pittman said. The broken pole caused a power outage in the nearby Gemstone Mobile Home Park on Soledad Canyon Road in Acton, Pittman said.
