Political campaign injustice

On Jan. 29, you reported about President’s Obama’s criticism of the high court (“Justice disparages Obama’s U.S. high court criticism”) in its ruling allowing corporations to contribute to political campaigns.

I am surprised that Obama would have the gall to criticize anyone. Obama became senator from the state of Illinois and almost immediately started running for president, all the while accepting his Senate pay.

Obama ran for a little more than two years. John McCain ran almost that long. It is no wonder that incumbents stay in office so long, when they run on the people’s money.

Joe Blow might not be able to afford to run. He doesn’t get that paycheck.

Am I the only one who sees the injustice in this? Maybe Congressman Howard “Buck” McKeon will submit a bill to stop this practice.
