WASHINGTON, D.C - Rep. Howard P. "Buck" McKeon (CA-25) today announced the retirement of long-time District Director, Lew Stults, and the hiring of Andre Hollings as Field Representative in the Palmdale district office.

"It's always hard to lose staff that have been with me for several years, because they become like a part of my own family, so it was bittersweet when Lew Stults informed me he would be retiring. Having been with me for twelve years, he has been a quintessential District Director and senior advisor on staff.

"The work he did for the constituents in and around Southern California truly awarded him the title of public servant. He has served as a terrific liaison to residents, businesses, nonprofits, city and county officials, and the aerospace industry. I wish he and his wife, Karen, all the best as he moves into retirement.

"While the newest member of the district staff has hard shoes to fill, I am 100% confident in our new Field Representative, Andre Hollings, and delighted he has joined Team McKeon. We will greatly benefit from his active conservative work in the Santa Clarita Valley and through the National Republican Congressional Committee.

"The connections, experience, and boundless drive Andre is brining to my Palmdale office will make him a wonderful addition to the staff. I'm looking forward to coordinating with him to help tackle pressing issues in the Antelope Valley."

Andre Hollings, McKeon's new Field Representative in the Palmdale office, is originally from Tennessee, but moved to Santa Clarita, California in 1998. Prior to joining McKeon's staff, Hollings handled voter registration for the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC).

He is an active member of the Santa Clarita chapter for the California Republican Association, the Santa Clarita Valley Young Republicans, and Santa Clarita's local chapter of the Republican National Hispanic Assembly. Hollings has a history degree from The Master's College in Santa Clarita.

Lew Stults officially celebrated his retirement on Friday, February 26. Remarks were submitted by McKeon into Congressional Record and presented to Stults at a reception in his honor.
