Hit the Trail (March 20, 2010)
Come out for a community bike ride and rally celebrating the City's thirty-plus miles of off-street bike trails.Enjoy an escorted leisurely bike ride to Bridgeport Park from one of three convenient starting points around the City. For more information, visit

Masters Swim Meet (March 20, 2010)
The local Santa Clarita Masters Swim Club provides organized workouts with a coach, competitions, clinics, workshops, and social functions for individuals 18 years and older. On Saturday, March 20, at 9:00 am, watch local and regional swimmers compete in the United States Masters Swimming (USMS) at the Santa Clarita Aquatics Center. For more information, visit

Eggstravaganza (April 3, 2010)
Grab your basket and join your local community in the search for goodies left by the E. Bunny at Central Park on Bouquet Canyon Road. The "Egg Scramble" begins promptly at 10:00 am. The event is free, and there is no registration required. For more information, visit

Splash and Dash Egg Hunt (April 3, 2010)
Bring your little ones out for an aquatic egg hunt to collect floating and submerged eggs to redeem for fun prizes. Parent participation is encouraged for the younger age groups. Drive-through to drop-off your household hazardous waste at College of the Canyons between 9am to 3pm. The County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works and the Los Angeles County Sanitation District operates this one-day free event. For more information, visit

Earth Arbor Day (April 17, 2010)
The City of Santa Clarita Earth Arbor Day, will celebrate the 21st Annual Arbor Day Celebration, which will take place on April 17, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Newhall Park. Evening of Remembrance (April 21, 2010)
At the Central Park Youth Grove, the community will remember the Santa Clarita Valley youth who have lost their lives in traffic-related collisions and raise awareness about the importance of safe and responsible driving. Western State Conference Swimming Finals (April 22-24, 2010)
The culminating swim meet for Community Colleges in Southern California. The Santa Clarita Aquatic Center is expecting over 500 athletes to compete over three-days. Participating teams will be traveling from Ventura, Cuesta, Citrus, Pierce, LA Valley, Bakersfield, Santa Monica, and our hometown College of the Canyons. For more information, call (661) 250-3700.

Cowboy Festival (April 22-25, 2010)
The best performers in western entertainment will celebrate the City of Santa Clarita's 17th annual Cowboy Festival, with several events throughout the Santa Clarita Valley. On April 24 and 25, walk through an authentic Western movie set at Melody Ranch Motion Picture Studio, enjoy performances by Cowboy musicians and poets, and dine on Cowboy cuisine.
