The city of Santa Clarita along with funding partners will celebrate the completion of the 8.5 mile cross-valley connector road on Saturday, March 27 at 11 a.m.

The last segment of the roadway, connecting Golden Valley Road to Bouquet Canyon/Newhall Ranch Road, will open to the public on that day.

This major new road construction project has spanned nearly a decade at a total cost of $245 million.

To see the progress of the roadway, the city has created a clickable map with construction photos and road segment details.
