Hart district hosts forum for students

Abuse of over-the-counter drugs and marijuana is among the topics to be covered when the William S. Hart Union High School District hosts a districtwide drug-awareness seminar for parents and students from 7:30-9:30 p.m. on May 4 in the West Ranch High School theater.

The seminar is part of a series of drug-information forums offered by the Hart district’s Comprehensive Alcohol and Drug Reduction Education program, also known as CADRE, and is open to the local community.

Sgt. Tom Lorenz from the Glendale Police Department will be the keynote speaker. Students who attend will be entered into a drawing for free Six Flags Magic Mountain tickets to be held that evening.
