Coroner's officials on Monday identified a 35-year-old Canyon Country woman who apparently jumped out of her brother's moving car, scaled a fence and fell about 200 feet from the Whites Canyon Road bridge to her death.

Rebecca Lynn Annison lived with her brother and had a history of mental health issues, said Detective Eddie Brown of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Homicide Bureau.

Detectives are considering the death a suicide after interviewing several eyewitnesses, Brown said.

Annison's brother was driving with Annison up Via Princessa early Sunday evening. The brother then turned onto northbound Whites Canyon Road traveling about 30 miles per hour before Annison leapt from the vehicle, Brown said.

"She tells (her brother) that she has to ‘end this,' opened the door and jumped out while he was driving," he said.

Annison's brother pulled over to the side of the road, Brown said, where he saw her head to the railing, climb the fence and go over the side of the bridge.
