Los Angeles-based independent record company GB Records will host "Concert For the Gulf" on Sept. 10 at the House of Blues New Orleans as a fundraiser to help clean up and restore the Gulf Coast after BP's massive oil spill.

Tickets cost $35 and went on sale on July 31.

Headlining the concert are platinum-selling band Fastball, actress and folk singer Shay Astar, Santa Clarita Valley-based rock 'n' roll band The McGrath Project, and singer-songwriter Shawn Mullins.

Patrick Gallagher, from the television series "Glee," is the master of ceremonies.

"We will also have stars from '3rd Rock from the Sun' and 'Reba,'" McGrath said.

All proceeds will benefit Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana.

"To put this show on, I have to get sponsors to cover the expenses such as the airfare for the talent to New Orleans from five different cities across the U.S. so I am asking for donations," he said. "It can be $25 or it can be $1,000,000. Any form of donation will be greatly appreciated.

"If you donate money, the Coalition will send you a receipt with the proper tax ID numbers so it can be tax-deductible and shown as a donation. If you are interested please let me know ASAP," McGrath said.

House of Blues New Orleans is located at 225 Decatur St., New Orleans, La. 70130.
