Have some laughs and help the homeless at a fundraiser for the Santa Clarita Valley Emergency Winter Shelter.

Comedian Randy Lubas performs at 4 p.m., July 11 at Blessed Kateri church, located at 22508 Copper Hill Drive in Santa Clarita.

A silent auction will be held at 3 p.m.
Lubas began performing comedy while at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. His comic voice came from his rare ability to spot the ironies in life. His wry observations have landed him on dozens of national TV networks and radio broadcasts on Comedy Central, Showtime, The Nashville Network, and the "Bob & Tom Radio Show," among others.

Lubas's material pokes fun at realtors, engineers, parenting, the airlines and our legislators.

Married for 24 years, Lubas and his wife own and operate comedy clubs in Valencia and Ventura.

Tickets cost $12. Visit or call (661) 607-5418 to purchase.
