Alexandria Quinn Evans and Justin Anthony Savala were joined in marriage January 9, 2010, at the Four Seasons’ Oceanfront Terrace adjacent to La Pacifica Ballroom in Santa Barbara.

The bride is the daughter of Scott and Julia Evans, of Newhall, and the granddaughter of Reba Hallerberg, of Valencia; William Evans, of Valencia; and Frank Quinn, of Newhall.

The groom is the son of Ray and De Dee Savala, of Ventura. He is the grandson of Spencer and Patricia Scheid, of Ventura; Carol Boner, of Ventura, and John and Carol Savala, of Ventura.

The couple were joined in marriage by Father Mike Jarver of the Good Shepherd Church.

The bride was given in marriage by her father and mother.
Maids of Honor were Jocelyn Evans, of Valencia, and Courtney Nanson, of Valencia.

Bridesmaids were Janna Thorne, of Marina Del Rey; Alexis Terry, of Valencia; Lindsey Kleban, of Newhall; Tiffany Voita, of Ventura; Sarah Savala, of Mammoth Lakes; and Kristine Studden, of Newhall. Junior bridesmaid was Kasey Herrington, of Stevenson Ranch.

Best men were Shane Savala, brother of the groom, and Kyle Jensen, close friend of the groom.

Groomsmen were Scotty Evans, brother of the bride; Cory Rowlett; Chad Compton; Chris Jacobson; Dave Clark; Morgan Steven; and Tyler Molesworth. Junior groomsman was Todd Herrington, of Stevenson Ranch.

The ring bearer and flower girl were Gabriella and Dominique Oliveri, of San Francisco.

Also participating in the ceremony were Todd Herrington, the bride’s cousin, and Dominique Oliveri,  the groom’s cousin.

The bride wore a couture dress handmade for her by designer Ali Rahimi for Mon Atelier. The strapless dress was adorned with crystal beading, French tulle and one-of-a-kind feathers. Styled by celebrity stylist Anya Sarre, the bride wore blue Manolo Blahnik heels (for her “something blue”) and Badgley Mischka jewels with custom tulle and Swarovski crystal veil for a vintage glamorous look.

She carried a vintage handbag of her grandmothers as her wedding heirloom.

The cake was a five-layer chocolate with vanilla-bean filling cake by Hansens Cakes in Beverly Hills and adorned with fuchsia and purple bows as well as vintage diamond broaches.

To compliment the bride and groom’s selected color scheme of vibrant fuchsia and rich purple, a romantic evening garden effect was created through the use of thousands of hot pink roses, hydrangeas, peonies, phalaenopisis orchids, lavender sweet peas and purple anemones.

The bride’s bouquet featured full bloom white garden roses, ranunculas and sweet peas, accented with a collar of velvety lamb’s ear leaves.

The bridesmaids’ vibrant bouquets featured hot pink roses, deep purple anemones, sweet peas and silvery duty miller.

The ceremony site featured oversized manzanita trees dripping with masses of fuchsia orchids and strands of sparkling crystal. The stage was encased in royal purple fabric and featured a custom purple and silver aisle runner.

The reception centerpieces were a dramatic combination of elevated topiary style arrangements and low floral groupings arranged in vintage silver containers.

A reception for 150 guests was held at the Four Seasons Biltmore Resort La Pacifica Ballroom. Out-of-town guests came from Texas, Arizona, South Dakota and Nevada.

The couple started the wedding weekend with a mini vacation checking into the Four Seasons Biltmore Resort the Thursday before the ceremony with the bride and her maids in a three-bedroom cottage.   They enjoyed special treatment including in room spa pedicures and beautiful catering arrangements in the cottage for the bridesmaids, bride’s mother, mother-in-law and grandmother-of-the-bride.

A hair, makeup and fashion design team assisted while getting ready for the big day.

The bride enjoyed a separate cottage location with hair, makeup and fashion stylist who indulged her in the same services.

The groom and his groomsmen checked into the two-bedroom apartment suite at the Montecito Inn — down the road from the four seasons where their vacation also began Thursday evening. They walked into a suite filled with food, beverage and flatscreen televisions (bathrooms included) — as well as transportation downtown.

The bride and groom enjoyed their honeymoon at the hotel and stayed an additional five days and six nights in their honeymoon suite.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of William S. Hart High School in Newhall and  a 2009 graduate of Pepperdine University with a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in sociology and psychology. 

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Buena High School.

 Bride is employed by Evans & Son Inc. in Santa Clarita  as a personal assistant.

The groom employed by G & R Concrete in  Ventura as a  vice president.

The couple will make their home in Valencia.
