Romo Art, a new gallery and performance space located at 22508 6th St., Unit B, in Newhall 91321, will host an event called "Art Tank 2.0" on Tuesday, Sept. 21 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Art Tank 2.0's first get-together will feature a book discussion on David Bates & Ted Orland's "Art & Fear."

Also known as the Artist's Survival Guide, "Art & Fear" explores the way art gets made, the reasons it often doesn't, and the nature of the difficulties that cause so many artists to give up along the way.

Questions like, "What is your art really about?" and "Where is it going?" will be discussed during this gathering.

Participants are encouraged to buy a copy of the book and read Chapters 1 ("The Nature of the Problem") and 2 ("Art & Fear") prior to attending this event.
