A massive 10-foot-by-10-foot carrot cake will help celebrate Stonefire Grill’s 10th anniversary Sept. 26 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Spokeswoman Melissa Mason said the restaurant is expecting up to 3,000 people to attend.

The event at the Valencia location, is also dovetailing the anniversary celebration with a fundraiser to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The fundraiser honors the co-founders, Mary and Maureen Harrigan’s nephew Brendan, 23, who has lived with the often fatal lung disease.

A minimum $1 donation will allow visitors to enjoy a meal of barbecue tri-tip, garlic mashed potatoes, chopped salad, carrot cake and drink. Stonefire hopes to raise $20,000 for the foundation.

In celebration of the restaurant’s anniversary, entertainment will be provided by K-Earth 101 with live performances by students from West Ranch, Hart, Golden Valley, Valencia, Saugus and Canyon high schools.
