Offense erupts in Game 2 win

Eight runs scored in fourth

Hart busted into the semifinal round of the Mustang Pony World Series in a big way Thursday, winning 15-4 over East representative Richmond, Va. in Game Two.

The game in Irving, Texas, located approximately 15 miles from Dallas, was put away in the bottom of the fourth inning. Hart led 7-4, before its bats struck for eight runs.

Zach Baker hit a two-run shot to the left-field fence for a double, which made it 15-4.

At 5 p.m. and at 7 p.m. today in Irving, Texas, Hart will play an opponent yet to be determined.

Hart starting pitcher Caden Salkeld gave up three runs in three innings.

Hart began the game in control, taking a 6-2 lead after the first inning.

On late Friday night, Hart played against East Fork, Texas. The result was not determined as of press time.
