Today’s Santa Clarita Marathon will cause several road closures and delays to accommodate the runners.
When: 5 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: McBean Parkway from Magic Mountain Parkway to Valencia Boulevard will be closed from 5-7:15 a.m.; Westbound Valencia Boulevard. Drivers can use Citrus Avenue to Magic Mountain Parkway from 6-7:15 a.m.; Del Monte Drive and Benito Court will have delays from 7-7:30 a.m.; Northbound Tourney Road will be closed from 7-7:30 a.m.; Delays expected at the industrial center on Avenue Scott, Avenue Stanford, Avenue Rockefeller, Anza Drive and Avenue Hopkins from 7–8:30 a.m.; Newhall Ranch will be closed from Avenue Tibitts and McBean Parkway between 7 a.m and 9:30 a.m.; Esteban Drive will remain open, but drivers should exercise caution and be mindful of marathon runners crossing the street from 7-11:30 a.m.; Both the Cinema parking structure and Auto Center Drive entrance at the Westfield Valencia Town Center will be closed from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Theater Drive will be closed from 2 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Town Center Drive will be closed from 2-9:30 a.m.
