I am thankful for so many things. I am most thankful for my family, my health and everything God has given me and blessed me with. I am grateful for all these things.

One of the things I am so grateful to have is my family. My mom and dad are always there to cheer me on at a soccer game or pick me up when I fall down. My dad works hard so I can live in a great house and do fun things. They always show love and care for me and protect me all the time. I love my family and I always will.

Another thing I am grateful for is my health. I am so thankful that I am able to wake up every morning being healthy and strong. I don’t have to be stuck in a hospital bed or hooked up to monitors 24/7 while other kids play outside. I am extremely thankful that I am healthy and able to live a healthy life.

I am most thankful for everything God has given me. He has blessed me with amazing friends and great family, and overall my whole life has been amazing. God has given me so much and I am extremely thankful with everything he has given me.

Overall, I am thankful for everything. I can make a huge list of everything I love, but it would be way too long. So I would like to take this time to say thank you, for everything I have.

In this world that we live in today, it’s all about “more, more, more,” but just think for a minute. How often do you thank others when they do something kind or generous for you? I know that I struggle with it. A wise man, Brian Tracy, once said “Develop an attitude of gratitude, and give thanks for everything that happens to you, knowing that every step forward is a step toward achieving something bigger and better than your current situation.” Some of the many things that I am thankful for are my family and friends, music, and the time period that we live in.

I am very thankful for the wonderful people who surround me at home and at school. My friends I know will always be there for me when I’m in trouble, need help, or when I’m feeling down. My family cares for me and provides me with the things that I need and want. But above all, my friends and family love me. I hope that I will always remember to cherish and appreciate them.

Another blessing that brings joy to my life is music. This is a huge part of my life because I play piano, sing in my junior high choir and take part in my church choir. Music is so powerful that it can change one’s mood. I can be sad, but as soon as someone starts playing a cheerful song, I can’t help but smile and sing along. Good music can bring people together when they are mourning over a loss, singing songs of praise or celebrating good times. Finding good music can be difficult through, considering the meaning behind most of today’s hit songs.

Even though sometimes our lives are tough, most of the time we have it pretty good. I am very thankful to live in a time period where everyone has equal rights and is free. Not that long ago, women didn’t have as many rights as they do now, so I am proud to say that when I am older I can have my own job and can vote to elect officials.

Another thing that comes with living in this time period is modern medicine and technology. Without these, people would not live as long as they do now and our lives would be a lot harder.

In closing, I would like to say that being grateful is important, even if sometimes you feel like you haven’t been given much, just look around you. You will realize what a wonderful world that we live in with all of its beauty and opportunities.

Have you ever thought about what you’re grateful for? Everyday, there is so much to be grateful for that we don’t notice.
We live in a country that has so much, while other parts of the world have so little.

I’m grateful for America, where we are free to make our own decisions, and to worship our God for all his many blessings. I am especially grateful for all the people God as put into my life, who have helped shape me into who I am today.

I’m grateful for my great-grandfather, who had no shoes growing up in the freezing cold northern Minnesota winters. He was so poor, he decided that when he grew up his family would have plenty.

I’m grateful for my grandfather who passed away one year ago on Thanksgiving Day. He was a smart professor, and I learned some interesting things from him. I am grateful for the time I got to spend with him, and the sweet memories we shared.

I’m grateful for my Mom and Dad who work so hard to take care of me. They take time when I need their help, and they teach me right from wrong.

I’m grateful for my school, my kind teachers and my caring principal, Mrs. Miscione. They all work so hard to prepare me for college, so that I may grow up to be a successful and productive citizen of society.
