New Restrooms Approved for Jake Kuredjian County Park
The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday unanimously approved a new restroom building at Jake Kuredjian County Park, which is located off Pico Canyon Road in Stevenson Ranch.

Given a green light was a new 650-square-foot restroom structure with security lighting, drinking fountain, storage area and walkway.

Construction of the $364,000 project will begin in March and be completed by August 2008.

Canyon Country Post Office Burgled
Someone broke into the Canyon Country Post Office during the holiday weekend and forced open a safe, sheriff's officials reported Tuesday.

Postal workers returned to work at the office on Soledad Canyon Road near Sierra Highway on Tuesday morning and discovered the safe broken into, sheriff's officials said.

The theft occurred between closing on Saturday and opening Tuesday morning. Officials did not say what was stolen.

Botox Recipient Walks off Without Paying
A woman received Botox treatment Tuesday afternoon but left without paying for it, according to a Sheriff's Department report.

According to Doris Carlson, owner of Valencia Laser Associates located at 23501 Cinema Drive in Valencia, a customer seeking Botox treatment came into her office at approximately 12:45 p.m. After the treatment was completed, the patient left without paying for the service.

Carlson estimated the value of the treatment at $400.
