Santa Clarita man named vice president of operations for Togo’s

Rand Ferris, a resident of Santa Clarita, has been named vice president of operations for Togo’s Sandwiches. Ferris will assume all responsibilities for operations including: franchised and company-owned restaurant operations, training and new restaurant construction.

“Over the past year, Togo’s has set in place aggressive strategic growth plans while we continue our focus on supporting our current franchise system,” said Tony Gioia, CEO of Togo’s. “Rand’s nearly 30 years of expertise in executive management and restaurant operations will undoubtedly be a strong addition to Togo’s executive leadership team.”

Ferris previously served as vice president of franchise operations for IHOP, which included its 1,300 restaurants. He was also directly involved in opening more than 500 new restaurants for the IHOP brand. 

Ferris holds a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Chico and a master’s of business administration degree from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA. Ferris lives in Santa Clarita with his wife and two sons.
