Over 2,000 top executives and business people from around Southern California will learn how to help their businesses succeed at the fourth annual KFI AM 640 "Mind Your Own Business" event on Saturday, May 14, 2011. The event happens at the University Center at College of the Canyons from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Hosted by L.A.'s top rated AM radio personality and business advisor, Bill Handel, the FREE business event includes meet and greet sessions with business consultants, legal and financial advisors, as well as the opportunity to attend hourly seminars on a variety of topics, including Santa Clarita's business advantages like the Enterprise Zone, Use Tax Incentive, and many more.

"The City of Santa Clarita and College of the Canyons are proud to partner with one of Southern California's most listened-to radio stations to provide an opportunity for business owners to one-stop shop information to help them survive and thrive during this time of fiscal uncertainty," commented Mayor Marsha McLean. "Mind Your Own Business has benefited many Southern California businesses and we're thrilled to bring the exciting event to Santa Clarita."

An avid supporter of keeping business in California, Bill Handel will broadcast his Handel on the Law live from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. during Mind Your Own Business 11 a.m. Seating is limited.

"The Mind Your Own Business event provides the city with a tremendous opportunity to increase awareness of Santa Clarita as a flourishing business community where companies big and small enjoy success," commented Economic Development Manager Jason Crawford.

The event is part of the multi-faceted Think Santa Clarita business attraction campaign aimed at highlighting the benefits of expanding within or relocating to the growing Santa Clarita market to Southern California executives.

The University Center at College of the Canyons is located at 26455 Rockwell Canyon Road. Admission is free and no registration is necessary.
