Legacy Christian Academy’s enrollment has been on a steady increase in recent years, and now counts 396 K-8 students, officials recently announced.

The private Christian school in Valencia is one of the largest K-8 private schools in the Santa Clarita Valley.

“Legacy continues to attract families that are interested in a preparatory education to prepare their child for high school (Advanced Placement) and Honor classes and for future college acceptance,” Legacy Superintendent Tim Borruel said.

This year, enrollment increased by 45 students in grades 1-8, and Legacy welcomed 52 new kindergarten families, the school reported.

Legacy offers a preparatory education with a foundation that is technology-based and within the context of a Christ-centered culture.

The school regularly takes part in field trips, community service projects and chapel events.
