Festival of Trees will be open to the public noon-6 p.m. Nov. 13; 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Nov.14-17; 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 18; 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 19; noon -7 p.m. Nov. 20; 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Nov. 21-22 and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 23 for item pickup. Help feed the hungry and win prizes. Drop off your nonperishable food items now through Dec. 15 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday at The Signal, 24000 Creekside Road, Valencia or at PCS Verizon, 22872 Copperhill at Seco Canyon in Saugus. For each item of food you receive a raffle ticket. Win a Mobile Hotsot MiFi; LG Cosmo II or a Jabra 250 blue tooth headset. Food benefits the Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry.


Friday, Nov. 18

The fifth annual magic show hosted by the International Brotherhood of Magicians Ring 280 benefiting the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley will be held 6:30-9:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18 at Westfield Valencia Town Center, 24201 Valencia Blvd., Valencia. Saturday, Nov. 19

Single Mothers Outreach will host the annual Empowering Hearts Gala and Art Exhibit 5-7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19 at the Dr. Dianne G. Van Hook University Center, University Center Drive, Valencia. The Boys and Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley Festival of Trees — Magic of the Lights Gala will be held 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19 at Westfield Valencia Town Center, 24201 Valencia Blvd., Valencia. Winter hours at Hart Park and Museum

William S. Hart Park and Museum, the former ranch and home of silent film star William S. Hart, is located at 24151 Newhall Avenue, Newhall, CA 91321. The Park and Museum are currently open for Winter Hours. The Park is open 7 days a week 7-5. OLPH 5K Fun Run/bike ride, expo

Runners, families and business owners, join Our Lady of Perpetual Help School for its second annual run and bike ride Saturday, Nov. 19. All races start at OLPH, 23225 Lyons Ave., Newhall.
