Pour d’Vino Wine Lounge and Bistro, a restaurant for patrons to enjoy a wide selection of wines, held its grand opening in Lancaster on Thursday.

The city of Lancaster has been working aggressively to attract new businesses into downtown Lancaster on its main street, The BLVD.

Pour d’Vino is one of 10 businesses to benefit from the city’s Commercial Property Improvement program, enacted by the city in March.

The program gives incentives to new businesses to locate to the area via a matching contribution and opportunity to upgrade the facades of their storefronts.

Pour d’Vino offers nearly 40 different wines by glass, more than 100 varieties of wine by bottle, and lunch and dinner menus.

The Tuscany-inspired décor wine lounge also has patio seating with views of The BLVD and seating on a rooftop balcony with an outdoor fireplace.

Owned by mother-and-son team of Jody Cherbonneaux and Jason Brookins, the pair said Pour d’Vino is a destination for people after seeing a show at the local movie theater or Lancaster Performing Arts Center.

“As the only wine bar in the Antelope Valley, Pour d’Vino will be an exclusive social venue,” Cherbonneaux said.

Pour d’Vino is located at 741 W. Lancaster Blvd. More information can be found at
