A 2-year-old girl was transported to a trauma center at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles today after she fell out of a second-story window in Castaic on Monday, but she was not believed to be seriously injured.


Lt. Tom Bryski of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s station said the girl was airlifted to Los Angeles Children’s Hospital as a precaution. He said the girl did not appear to be seriously injured in the fall.


The incident occurred about 10:30 a.m. in the 28600 block of Oak Canyon Road in Castaic.
