Brogen D. Tomasick

Private First Class Brogen D. Tomasick, 21, of Newhall, graduated from United States Marine Corps boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego on Jan. 27.

Tomasick successfully completed 13 weeks of intensive basic training at MCRD San Diego as one of the 1st Battalion Delta Company recruits in Training Platoon 1062.

While in basic training, Tomasick served as platoon squad leader and earned the title of expert rifleman.

Following 10 days home on leave, he will serve for three weeks as a USMC recruiter at the new Armed Forces Career Center in Santa Clarita and then report to Camp Pendleton for two months at Infantry Training Battalion.

Tomasick will be stationed at Camp Pendleton, San Diego, following training.

He is a graduate of William S. Hart High School and is the son of Annikki Lotta, of Newhall.
