After buying the 25Score discount-card company in late 2009 and bringing it back to life, Ed and Marlene Bernstein have now kicked the service up several notches by offering pharmacy savings and tickets to Broadway shows. And they also launched a new user-friendly website.

No longer only a program to get a discount at your local pizza or sandwich shop, the new 25Score program now offers local Santa Clarita residents’ savings on their prescription medications and discounts for Broadway shows at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood.

Residents can receive up to 75-percent off their prescriptions with the new 25Score card to Rite-Aid, CVS, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Target, Sav-On and other participating large chains and independent pharmacies.

“In some cases, our members are spending more on prescriptions than groceries,” said Ed Bernstein, president of 25Score. “Using the Pharmacy Card will help them save money.”

As for those Broadway shows, 25Score’s current promotion is for “Billy Elliott The Musical” and members will receive $15 off their tickets. Seats were set aside by the theater for 25Score members and tickets must be purchased through the 25Score e-tickets program on their website. The first Broadway show offer expires today.

“Partnering with Pantages is exciting for us,” Bernstein said. “The first musical that we are selling discount e-tickets for is ‘Billy Elliot The Musical’ with a special show date April 13 for 25Score members.”

Show seats are limited, and tickets are discounted $15 off the regular price.

As for the pharmacy discounts, people can log onto the company’s website and become members making them eligible for the program. Existing members can call the office, which will mail out a sticker for the back of their cards.

“Between saving locally at restaurants, stores and on services and now the Pharmacy Card, members will save 10-fold the price of the 25Score card,” Bernstein said.

The company’s new website can also be accessed via cellphone or computer, he said.

Bernstein, who said he was just appointed as a member  of the board of director with Old Town Newhall Association, is also looking forward to partnering with the association to promote all their of their events.

New and existing members can go online at or call 661-25-SCORE (72673).
