Presbyterian special service

What: The First Presbyterian Church of Newhall Adult Education will host classes on peacemaking presented by Cecil Ramnaraine. Members will study Martin Luther King Jr., Dag Hammarskjold, Mohandas Gandhi, the Dalai Lama and Nelson Mandela. All are welcome.

Women’s Seder

Unity of Antelope Valley service

What: Unity minister and trainer Rev. Scott Sherman will conduct a sacred healing meditation seminar during the Unity of Antelope Valley service. Donations of $60 suggested.

When: Seminar from 1-2:30 p.m. on Sunday; Healing session from 2:50-6 p.m. on Sunday and 9:40 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

‘Methodist movement’ talk

Friday Night Fish Fry

What: The Agua Dulce Women’s Club hosts a Friday Night Fish Fry. Proceeds benefit the nonprofit organization. Homemade Fish Fry dinner includes fries, coleslaw and roll and two pieces for $7, 3 pieces is $8. Macaroni and cheese plate is $5.
