Yes, the holiday season is now upon us. The social whirl has slowed and I know everyone is searching for that perfect turkey to serve up to family and friends on Thursday. Happy Thanksgiving!

Festival of Trees
Kudos to all who participated in Festival of Trees.

It's a tough economic climate, but it was wonderful to see a spectacular event like Festival of Trees bring the magic of the holidays to the Santa Clarita Valley.

A tip of the hat to Jeri and Carl Goldman, Gary and Myrna Condie, Barbara C. Morris, Anna Ott, Jill Abejon, Patrice Anguili, Gigi Bost, Bonnie Gowing, Bob Kellar, Karen Kibbee, Bryan Lake, Nancy Omost, Carol Rock, Betty Schutz, Kathy Keysor Smith, Lynn Wagstrom and Curtis Waite.

The gingerbread houses were exquisite - and one again my favorite part of the festival.

Chris Schauble was again at the top of his game as master of ceremonies, auctioneer Mark Drilling worked his heart out and Caesar and his jazz quartet provided magnificent entertainment.

Wouldn't you like to be Tina Hundley?
Chris Hundley wins the "thoughtful husband sweepstakes" in the SCV.

He threw a surprise 50th birthday party for his wife Tina in the Atrium room at the Tournament Players Club Oaks Grille.

He invited 45 friends and family members and they celebrated with magician Mark Prines, who wowed the crowd.

Chris then took the stage and brought tears to the audience as he expressed his love for Tina. He then presented her with a small box.

It was empty.

"Oh, my mistake. I forgot it wouldn't fit!" Chris said.

He then invited everyone outside so he could present Tina with a fully-restored red 1966 Corvette convertible.

As I've said before - what a guy!

Hart High drama rocks!
