Taste of the Town returns to Valenica this Sunday, May 6, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., and with the mild weather predicted, this will be a perfect way to join your friends at one of the SCV's signature events.

At this year's 24th annual Taste of the Town, more than 2,000 attendees will enjoy tasty offerings from more than 40 of Santa Clarita's best restaurants, caterers and wine and beer purveyors, all in the beautiful garden setting of Mann Biomedical Park.

This year's event is co-chaired by Child & Family Center Foundation Board members Scott Shepard and Jenny Ketchepaw, along with her husband Tim. The event has long been considered a community highlight and a foodie's dream, with its amazing array of delicious food plus wonderful wines, beers and ales. But there are also a number of other great things going on each year that have made it the "Best Charity Event in the SCV" two years in a row.

Attendees have the opportunity to win a spectacular seven day cruise on Princess Cruises to the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean or the sun-kissed Mexican Riviera by purchasing opportunity tickets at $100 each.

The Champagne Diamond Drop, sponsored by Classic Designs Jewelry, features a glass of champagne and a chance to win a one-carat diamond. Owner Apo Yessayan traveled to Belgium to personally hand-pick the coveted stone. Tickets to enter are just $25.

Platinum recording artist Mark LeVang and Friends - a very talented group of musicians and singers - promise to keep the crowd moving throughout the afternoon with an incredible mix of rock, pop, R&B, Latin, jazz and funk favorites. And there will also be live and silent auctions with a plethora of exciting gifts.

Tickets are $75 per person and are all-inclusive for entertainment, auctions, food and drink. For more information visit The Mann Biomedical Park is located at 25104 Rye Canyon Loop, Valencia, CA 91355.
