June 23-24

The 12th annual Green Valley Art Walk, a fine art and crafts fair featuring artwork from around the world, live demos, wine and cheese tasting, beer tasting, raffles, art auctions and more, will take place 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, June 23-24, at 15419 Spunky Canyon Road, Green Valley. Friday, June 29

The Santa Clarita Aquatic Center, 20850 Centre Pointe Parkway, Santa Clarita, hosts a Dive-In-Movie, on Friday, June 29, watch, “How to Train your Dragon.” Enjoy the movie on the big screen while you float in the pool or lounge on the deck in the “balcony section.”


Saturday, June 30

Santa Clarita Elks Club will host its charity fundraiser car show, poker run and chili cook-off 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 30 at the Elks Lodge, 17766 Sierra Highway, Canyon Country. Crock-Pot chili cook-off entry $10, car show entry $20 (motorcycles are welcome), poker run $15. Trophies, silent auction, live music by Soundwaves, food and more. The Santa Clarita Valley Historical Society will host Wild West Days, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, June 30 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, July 1 at Heritage Junction, adjacent to William S. A Texas Hold ‘Em tournament to benefit the Santa Clarita-based Michael Hoefflin Foundation for Children’s Cancer is set for 1 p.m. Saturday, July 14 at Diamond Jim’s Casino, 118 20th St. W., Rosamond. Flag Day at Elks Lodge

The Santa Clarita Elks Lodge #2379 invites the community to attend the Elks Flag Day Ceremony 7 p.m. Friday, June 15, followed by the Boy Scouts Flag Retirement Ceremony. Bringing in tattered flags to retire is encouraged. Free hamburgers and hot dogs will be served to anyone in uniform.
